oh sopranos, don't you cry for me.
with everyone and their mom (except mine) complaining about the sopranos finale, i figured for the sake of remembering this at some point in the future, i'll say something about it here.
i thought it was fucking great. i thought it was perfect. i thought that it served to remind everyone who watched the show that it wasn't about the mafia, it was about the human condition. it was fantasy but it was the most realistic fantasy show on television. the relationship between the characters being the strongest emphasis. they could have been doing anything else an no one would have cared. but compare sopranos to any other mafia movie. you're getting characters with a real depth that act like real people.
