It wasn't like Tobias was unfamiliar with bad dreams. Those kinds one woke up to- sometimes just out of breath, sometimes in a cold sweat. Everyone had them. Everyone dealt with them as best as they could. They were dreams, after all. Just dreams. Nothing was real, right? So... nothing to worry about. That was something he had especially told himself during his last days at Twilight Town before he had been pulled into this strange new world. With strange new things like moogles and chocobos and weird architecture- and all kinds of new people, too.
Maybe though- simply because it was a different world, he should have expected different.
But, really? Who could have anticipated this? It was one thing- strange, sure. No, strange wasn't the word for it. It was downright worrying when Calliste just stopped paying him any mind. At first, he had thought, well, maybe he had made her mad somehow. After all, Olette had been known to give him the silent treatment like that. But then she would almost bump into him- like she had no idea he was even there. That was when he had decided to finally call out to the others.
And that was when things had taken a turn for the worse. Because next thing he had known, he had dropped his phone out of pure surprise- disdain and fear crossing him shortly afterward. Outside, a lone rabbit had scampered off from under the slab of the building- then another- and another until there had at least been a dozen scattering out into the rest of town, zipping around in the streets and quivering under whatever they could find. But rabbits were the least of things.
Currently, he was a little more busy diving out of the way of this suddenly obtrusive... thing? It looked like his blanket had come to life at first, but that couldn't be right. He'd been sitting on it just a second ago- his bed, for that matter. All he knew for sure though was right then he really wished he had done something about that lighting problem in his room because this was something mighty creepy as he ducked out and dodged whatever was after him with a shout. Going for the door only for it to suddenly pin to it- Shoot! The window ended in the same result and Tobias found his heart pulsing in him more and more rapidly.
"Great! Now what?"
