The small yellow bird darted through the street rather weighed down by the bundle on her back. She'd managed to find a bandana when she'd been running around in circles freaking out over her inability to remember her name, or what kind of bird she was; well to be more precise she'd been running around, tripped into a bush and found it there. Ahiru had bundled up her new possessions and gone off in search of clothes. Well, she'd taken almost all her new possessions with her, she'd had to hide the bow and arrows she'd received; they were just too large to take with her. So she'd hidden it in the the same bush where she'd found the bandana. She wasn't worried about anyone finding it though; Ahiru had gotten very good at hiding things with all the switching between forms she'd had to do in Golden Crown.
The place she'd now found herself in reminded her of the night of the fire festival back home. Everything was so bright, cheerful, and exciting that Ahiru found herself liking it despite her better judgement (Fakir would call her an idiot for letting her guard down so easily but that was neither here or there.) Now she just needed to figure out how to get some clothes and she'd be able to explore properly. And work on getting home of course. This strange new place may have looked like fun but it certainly wasn't home, and when Fakir realized she was missing he'd make himself sick with worry. Fakir was terribly overprotective like that, but then that was just his way of showing that he cared she'd realized. The little bird was so lost in thought that she completely forgot to pay attention to her surroundings.
