Today, I was thinking of doing drabbles. However, inspiration hasn't struck me completely. So, you guys might wait for it.
As some of you guys know I've done some minimalist drabbles in the past. Although they weren't specific to a particular fandom, some of them can be linked to anything from films or photographs to songs I've watched and listened to. Of course, my own inspirations can make you guys remember other films or songs that you like.
These drabbles I wrote are heavily inspired by trip hop, bossa nova, Wong Kar Wai's films and Pre-Raphaelite painters. Those drabbles are quite melancholic and mellow but it doesn't mean that I'm a depressive person. Quite the contrary in fact! I've just always enjoyed this melancholic genre as it is elegant and mysterious.
Here's the drabbles I've written so far.
"She looked at her eyes, filled with bitterness and disgrace. And she was alone, alone in the eternity of this moment."
"Her light eyes regarded him coldly, her face twisted in rage and despair. He thought she could have been beautiful. But his dream was shattered when he felt the metal piercing though his flesh."
"Tendrils of hairs swept accross her face, gently teasing her skin. But she felt nothing, she was dead."
"His laughter warming her heart, she looked away. Ashamed, she smiled at him. But he did not smile back."
"He looked at her. She was as beautiful and as dangerous as the sea. He cried for her. And he kissed her softly. Softly."
"I love you, he said. I hate you, she said. Red covered them both. The skies cried that day."
"A tear dropped. A last breath was taken. And the world ended."
"She walked on the cold earth. He was there, his feet teased by the waves. His smile was cold. She knew."
"We will meet again on a sunny day, she said. But he did not believe her. He walked away. She still calls him in his dreams."
"She was a broken dream. She looked at the reflection in the mirror. She did not recognize herself. And she screamed in rage, silently. Silently."
"He looked at her, his eyes full of tears. He felt the blood on his skin. She struck him down. He felt nothing, only his last breath. She died next to him."
"She painted his image, red and black clashing on the canvas. She ripped it, full of pain and rage. She felt his arms around her. She smiled, the sun casting a gentle glow on her. "
"She smelled of roses. He remembered the warmth. He remembered the betrayal. She, like a rose, destroyed his soul with her thorns. He remembered that he hated roses."
"Despair. It was despair that she saw in his eyes. But he was hiding, hiding like a coward. She turned away. And she ran."
Please, do not steal them as they were written from the heart. However, if you want to use them in a fic or on a fanart, please tell me so and do not claim there as yours (lol, or I'll hunt you down and stuff your mouth with apricots *giggles*).
