My dog Tiger died last night. We've had him since 96, and he was one of the best dogs ever. My dad told me this morning when i came home from a friends. Tiger had a breathing problem and a hip problem all his life, and he's been really struggling. We knew the time was coming but I didn't expect so soon. My parents got home late last night and saw Tiger rolled over, wheezing. They took him to the emergency room, and few moments later the vet came out and said it's over, he stopped breathing. This sucks. I love that lil guy, and I've had so many childhood memories with him. My parents said his adopted brother, a pekingnese named Alaska (my other dog), cried and howled all night. They said Alaska wouldn't eat this morning, but they finally saw him running around. Poor baby! Alaska's so lonely now. It reminded me of when Alaska ran away on New Year's because he was afraid of the fireworks, and Tiger cried all night. We finally found Alaska a few days later, after bawling our eyes out. I also remember when Alaska fell into the pool one day, and Tiger saved him by scratching on the door to get our attention. They grew up together since we got them a week apart. So sad and depressing. He will be missed. I hate this part of owning a pet. It really sucks. This is the first time I really had to go through something like this, and it's terrible. Has anyone else had to deal with the death of a pet?
RIP Tiger
