So I'm back from New York, which was amazing of course. First day we went to Times Square where I saw a Broadwayshop. There I bought the script of Faith Healer. But it's the version of when it first appeared on Broadway. Anyway, I'm just happy to have it. Then I visited the Booth theatre. Of course I recognized it immediately from all the pics. Even though it has a different poster now. On the other side of the road was the Musicbox theatre where Julianne Moore and Bill Nighy played. Suddenly my father shouts we should come and there they were, signing Playbills. The next day we bought tickets for that show, it's called the Vertical Hour. And the day after that we went to the matinee. It was brilliant, I really enjoyed it. It was quite funny sitting their in the theatre because I always imagined Broadway theatres to be huge for some reason, but they're actually very small. We didn't know what the play was about, we only went because of Bill Nighy so I looked in the Playbill but it doesn't say what it's about. Which was quite exciting, just sitting there and not having a clue of what is going to happen. Afterwards we went to the stage door of course and everyone was extremely kind. Especially Julianne Moore, who came out first. After I'd talked to her she disappeared quite quick, too bad because I would have liked a picture of her with me. I've only got one blurry pic. Last but not least, Bill Nighy came. I talked with him for quite a long time, about silly things like the weather and my mother's name (she was too shy to ask him to sign herself). And eventually I got my picture with him. That one is going to be on my wall of course, as soon as our printer's back. New year was quite boring and disappointing actually, my mother was ill so we didn't go to Times Square, but we saw it on the telly. That ball is really tiny. We'd been there that day and we looked for it everywhere. Of course we couldn't find it, it's too small. And everyone leaves at 00:15! In the Netherlands we party until 1 o'clock in the morning (some people all night) with loads of fireworks. There was hardly any firework over there. Coming back home was really weird, especially going to school today again. I'm definitely going back to New York, maybe next year.
