The last few med balls, I've left everything until the last few days. One memorable time, I bought the dress the afternoon of the ball and had it altered just hours before (amazing what a tinge of desperation/hysteria will make shop assistants do :P). anyway, basically med ball has always been associated with a shitload of stress and panicking and oh-god-colour co-ordination. This year was LEAPS AND BOUNDS better. For one, Sheeba and I set off to work our way through carousel a whole week and a half beforehand, and better still, finished the night with at least 2 possibilities. I'll grab some simple black jewellery some time this week to offset my CRAZY COLOURFUL dress (that is float-y! and floorlength! and makes me want to jump around twirling just so I can hear it swish! ok I've never been this excited about a dress lol), and Tim C is going to lend Adon a colour matched tie from his GIANT WALL OF TIES that lives in his room (seriously, it is giant and arranged by shades of colour. That boy has a touch of the OCD in him), Arya is coming to save us all re: hair and face and other things one must fix and everything is otherwise SORTED. THE END.
*celebrates*
Also:
1) not only have I been playing starcraft excessively, but I've also been youtubing all things related. Current favourite poster is PsyStarcraft. ^.^
2) I've been sick :( :( took one day off, told faculty as there was a compulsory tute and then was subjected to a whole lot of tsk-tsking. FU FACULTY. later found out no one have even checked attendance. *sigh*
3) Also I'm now on a neurology team. It's so awesome, mainly because we've had a whole range of patients come through with amazing signs from motor neurone disease, spinocerebellar ataxia, epilepsy, random seizures no ones really sure about, strokes of all types, vascular emergencies and psychiatric disorders. Coupled with a really nice and friendly team (including consultant) who are all about the teaching, I've never been this excited about Med :)
