I'm back! I mostly have a house again and the mold inspired sinus infection is gone. The wall is sealed up and the floor hammered down so I can open the door again. ESM still living elsewhere and working part time here. To which I say WTF but I'm not the boss. {sigh] just heard they are going out together tonight.
I just got done reading Ghost Story. I feel like I've watch Jim Butcher "grow up" as a writer. Each book is better than the last.
Saw an LJ refugee on another forum get upset that many people disagreed with her opinion that Harry Dresden is bi-sexual. I don't get it.[the getting upset part] I've always seen writing slash as a another game of writer-ly what if. Even speculation of the meta kind always strikes me as exploration of the possible. Like writing any other AU couple including Ganya. I believe in it while writing it and it is as valid to me as canon. However, I don't expect everyone to see my story as THE STORY. If somebody came to my LJ and read a G/A story and gave me negative feedback simply because of the pairing I'd call a troll a troll, but if I posted meta to a general BtVS board I'd expect a great deal of disagreement or disinterest.
