Hi all,
It's been a while since I've posted. I just had a question about applying to grad programs in psychology. I'm planning on applying to MA Counseling Psychology or PhD Counselling Psychology/Clinical Psychology programs in the future. However, I realize that there is a bit of discrepancy between my major and cumulative gpa. My overall CGPA is a 3.62, but my major GPA (psychology) and last two years GPA is 3.5! Usually, people have a high gpa in their major and/or last two years compared to their CGPA, so I'm wondering if this may present a red flag to admission committees?
I am considering other options such as socio-behavioural sciences, public health or health policy, so I'm wondering if my marks will pose a red flag for admission to those types of programs as well?
