Sociology

What is a good guide to all the Sociology graduate programs, separated by location, professor research interests, degree focus, etc. Preferably in book form.

I'm looking for something like the APA's "Graduate Study in Psychology" series, but for Sociology.

The ASA Guide to graduate schools. :) No joke, the american sociological association has the same exact thing. http://e-noah.net/asa/asashoponlineservice/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=ASAOE702G11

It's kinda expensive but if you are affiliated with an undergrad university, most soc departments will have a copy.

I only applied to 1, sort of a long story why, but I got rejected. So, I'm with ya on the "not happening this year" feeling. All you can do is try again - reapply to the ones you are sure you want to reapply to (if you made it to interviews and visits, and those affected your choice whether to reapply or not, for example), and research again for new ones to apply to.
