Uggh, I know I just posted, but I'm stuck again.
I was going to apply to the University of Alabama, but somehow I missed the part where you have to turn in your materials to the grad school six weeks before the departmental deadline. And it's way, way past six weeks at this point. So I have to strike them off my list. (Fortunately I haven't paid the fee or anything. Just cost me a little bit for sending GRE scores and transcripts, not a huge deal.)
Alabama is one of the schools who wanted me to mail in letters of rec myself, so I've got them all here. What's the protocol with this sort of thing? Should I give the letters back to the professors? Toss them? Indulge and see what they say? (Probably not that one.)
