e-mail etiquette
This isn't exactly an applying-to-graduate-school question, but it's relevant. Before I graduated in May, my honors advisor in math told me I could continue working with him on his research before I applied to graduate programs (next Fall, 2011). I e-mailed him about this recently but haven't heard back yet. So I was wondering how long I should wait before contacting him again. I know he's busy and I don't want to pester him, but at the same time I don't want him to forget about me. Or should I take his lack of response as a polite denial?
