Asking for a LOR from the faculty of intended MA program

Dec 01, 2010 17:43

 Hi all,

Perhaps I missed this, if I did excuse me. I've been taking classes as a non matriculating student this semester for an MA program that I'd like to apply to. In addition to this specific school, I'm also interested in 1 [possibly 2] other school for the Fall 2011 application season. I am considering asking two professors that I'm currently taking classes with to write my LORs since I've been doing well. Since both are core professors in the program, do you guys think it's awkward to ask them for a LOR into their own program? It sure sounds awkward, even to myself and another student whom I asked for advice from.

I'm not tech savvy, so I don't know how to put things "under the cut"? Thanks in advance.
