I wish everyone who is waiting for application decisions the best of luck. And to everyone who got what they wanted, congrats!
But for those of us who have been lurking around, it's going to be our turn soon. Our turn to obsess over SOPs. Our turn to obsessively check Grad Cafe.
The big question I want to ask is. . .
What do you wish you had known when YOU applied to grad school? Any sort of general tips, rants, and reflection upon the admissions process are welcome.
(Yes, I know this gets asked a lot, but the one entry I found was from early 2008, and I figure that new people would want to weigh in on the process.)
