So, I recently registered to take the GRE; my test date is in April and I am in the process of prepping myself.
I have a pair of GRE prep books from my sis--they're a little dated--05/08. They're of the "Princeton review" variety. I also got a thing of flashcards--500 "essential GRE vocab" from Princeton review. (also, I'm a fan of www.freerice.com)
I'm concerned mainly with the verbal/analytic sections. I am unsure if my math score is going to be terribly relevant to my application process--as I am going to apply for a philosophy program (somewhere) and not math/science.
So: advice on how to prep for it?
Obviously I'm doing the flashcards (30 every day/ever other day) and I worked through the big prep books long ago--but will review them as the test approaches. But general advice?
And yeah--the whole 'grad school' thing didn't feel real till I registered for the GRE and actually had a test date in front of me. So here goes?
