I am a dual US/UK citizen, but I've lived most of my life in the US. When I applied to master's programs recently, I looked at UK schools, but in order to qualify for "Home" fees, I had to have lived in the UK for the previous 3 years. Not the case with me, and since "Overseas" fees were steep, I didn't bother applying.
THEN, I randomly came across Maastricht University in The Netherlands, and apparently, in order to qualify for "Home" fees there, I merely need to have an EU passport - which I have! I'm really excited, because the fees are way cheaper than what I would pay for in the US, so now I want to look into other EU programs.
Here's my questions:
1. Is there any macro EU-wide university search engine? I'm looking for a specific program: a Public Policy Master's Degree taught in English. Obviously, if there were some site that aggregated that info, it would be a lot easier than googling each individual European country to see if they offer that degree, if it's taught in English, etc.
2. Does anyone know which other EU countries have more lenient policies regarding "Home" fees than the UK does?
3. Any tips on Public Policy programs I should consider in the EU?
Thanks!
