I had a question about whether graduate schools care about where you did you undergraduate study. I didn't see anything in the tags, but perhaps i'm not looking hard enough.
I was wondering do graduate schools weight where you did your undergraduate study at all? My undergraduate institution is rather notorious for being very theory-based in all disciplines and also very hard. I think generally, students at my school have lower GPAs comparative to other top institutions. Therefore, I was wondering should I be concerned and just try to get through my undergraduate by taking all the easy classes I can possibly take? For example, to get honors in the Math major you have to have at least a 3.25 GPA.
