Unknown Recommender- Filing Mistake?
Hello All!
So I was checking my app status for University X to make sure all of my materials had been received. To my surprise, in addition to my 3 recommenders was a prof I did not know and certainly had not asked for a recommendation. Turns out that this prof works at University X in the department to which I applied. Obviously I will contact them on Monday to address the issue, but has this ever happened to any of you before? Is it just a filing mistake? Thanks, and Happy New Year!!!
