Before I get started, I want to wish everyone Happy Holidays, and I hope your application process is going well.
This is my first time posting, and I'd like to say thanks to everyone who contributes, this community is a great resource!
The application for Bryn Mawr specifically asks for a list of scholarships, and the space on the application is too small so I wrote (see CV). Older posts suggest excluding scholarships earned in high school (but used for undergraduate studies) that aren't stellar or recognizable, but since Bryn Mawr asked, should I list everything I've won? And then, should I list how much each award was for?
They add up to $72,762.
I'm leaning toward not including the amount, but what good is listing non recognizable scholarships if I don't give information on why I won them or how much they're worth? How would someone react to seeing that I've been awarded this much money? Will they think that I'm "padding" or bragging, or that I'm a good investment since all these other people thought so as well?
I feel like just listing scholarships I've won won't be impressive lacking context. What do you all think? What have you done in the past?
I did check through old posts, but my apologies if I missed one that already answered my question.
Edit: P.S., I'm applying for MA programs in Art History.
