GRE Woes

Nov 16, 2009 13:12

I take the GREs this Thursday at about 2pm. I've been studying like a madman for about a month and a half now. However, I am starting to freak out. The more I study, the worse my practice scores get.

When I took my first one, I got about a 570 verbal, 520 quant before I had studied at all. It was a regular test, but I used it as a sort of diagnostic tool. I studied for a few weeks---no tests, just lots and lots of flashcards, practice problems out of books, reading up on how to do old math techniques I had forgotten, etc. I took the next practice test and got a 550 verbal, 510 quant. Whatever, I figured I was out of practice, maybe I was overworked, and dealt with it. Next test was a 510 verbal, and a 500 quant. A little more worried. My last test I got a 480 verbal, and a 450 quant. I'm really starting to freak out.

I know this is all getting to be last minute, but tips? This is getting incredibly ridiculous, and I'm really loosing faith that I can do this as my scores continue to plummet.
