Hi everyone!
I'm a new user here, and since I am totally freaking out about the admission processes, I wanted to ask your opinions on this:
I´m applying to do a PhD in biostatistics and, although I am also applying to external funding, I am hoping to get funding from the university. I know that as an international student (I'm from Venezuela), funding is difficult to get, but I think that I may have a good chance. One of my goals by doing this PhD is to return to my country and help create a postgraduate course in biostats, but I am worried that writing this on my SOP my hurt my chances for funding from the university.
What do you think?
Thanks a lot for your comments!!!
