Hello. I am an Anthropology student graduating with my BA in December. I am applying for graduate school for the Fall of 2010. I plan to take the GRE on October 17.
My dilemma:
My father is a disabled vet. Therefore, I get free college if I attend school in my resident state of Indiana. Because of this, my goal is to get into Purdue, but I am also applying to Indiana U.
The problem is that I don't think it is very smart just to apply to two schools. I plan to meet with one of my professors who has agreed to help me apply. I want to have a solid list of schools for her when we meet up. (I don't know when that is, I have e-mailed her for an appointment.)
My area of interest is in Biological Anthropology; specifically primate studies or human evolution. I am not sure which area I want to get my degree in quite yet.
This is where I ask for your help. I am looking for decent graduate schools with programs in these areas of studies. It can be anywhere in the US. I want to go to graduate school no matter what, so even if I don't get into an Indiana school, I am still going. I will just be broke :)
p.s. my overall gpa is about 3.45 and my major gpa is about 3.67. so I obviously wont be applying to schools like Harvard =P
thanks for any help!
