Taking time off?
I apologize if this question has been posed over and over again, but I did a cursory search and couldn't really find anything entirely related.
I am a senior majoring in English at UC Berkeley, and am thinking of applying to graduate school this semester. My question is: would I be disadvantaged since I don't have a full transcript (still taking classes next Spring) nor the benefit of havin written a honors thesis? (I'm in an honors thesis class but I don't think the actually product would crystallize in time for the application deadline, which is December 31 of this year). I have a writing sample that I think is pretty competitive but it's not taken from the honors thesis as most writing samples seem to be. Should I wait until after I graduate before applying?
