Analytical Writing GRE- and question

Nov 13, 2008 11:21

For the analytical writing section- ets has a pdf of ALL the possible writing topics for both tasks. I actually read through these once and I really recomend it to prepare.  It's pretty far down on the list of things to do in applying to grad school, drafting a sop and revising the writing sample is much more important, but it won't take more than 3 hours total to read through all the possible prompts and take notes on the few subjects you know NOTHING about. Also- there will be no surprises come test day and it might just feel smoother.
Also i made a list of transitional and descriptive words that I knew I could use in almost any topic to make "sentence variety" or wtvr they call it easier.

Anyone worried about the new computer scoring system they have for grading the writing? I'm kinda thinking it might not pick up on more subtler arguments etc...
