So I'm reapplying to grad schools again this year after the torture I was put through last year (waitlisted!). I was really lucky enough to find a great job in the field, and I definitely want to tell them about it this time around. The schools I'm reapplying to said they would keep my application and everything else I sent them just incase I reapply again so I wouldn't even have to resend them everything. Of course, since I have this job I know I'm resending them a resume, but should I update my statement of purpose? And should I get an extra LOR from my employer? Or should I leave everything else in my application as is?
Also, I'll be applying to a school that I didn't apply to last year. For the LORs, I'd ideally want the two profs that wrote me letters last year to write them again, but I know one of them is on sabbatical this year. Should I try asking them both again anyway? Or should I ask another prof that's still at the school now instead (I did really well in his class last year so he might write me a good one too)?
