Has anyone looking for federal loans for financial aid had problems lately?
I'm applying for Fall 2009 and I'm going to be turning in my FAFSA as soon as I get my tax forms. One thing that worries me is the effect the economy will have on financial aid. What is the general consensus on this so far? I keep telling my parents that everything will be fine, but I'm just feeding them bull**** that I don't even believe anymore. Is financial aid really getting tight? I'm feeling pretty good that I'll get accepted into at least one of the programs I'm looking at, but I'm really worried about being able to afford it. Can you still enough in loans to pay for everything if you don't get an assistantship?
