Job shortage? What? How about paying someone to actually ANSWER emails. After READING them. Not just sending me some stupid automated response because they saw "application status" in my email and assumed that I needed to know how to log in. I already know shit is missing. I'd like to know what, and the site isn't specific enough.
Generally, the departmental staff are friendlier when replying and tend to actually read the emails, so apparently the graduate offices just need a few extra hands.
