Thank you for failing to open ANY of my emails reminding of you an upcoming deadline, and thank you again for letting said deadline pass for the uni I REALLY wanted to go to. And by the way, the uni that specifically states IF ALL YOUR SHIT ISN'T IN ON TIME = AUTOMATIC REJECTION.

It's just uber annoying because he was basically all like 'oooh, don't worry about me, I'll DEFINETLY have everything in on time, nyuck nyuck' and then he drops off the face of the earth. And this school has like an 8% acceptance rate so I think they'll be dying for a reason to throw out applications.

8%? And here I thought my schools with 20% acceptance rates were scary! I agree - it is distressing to think about, but I doubt they'll automatically send your app to the circular file. I think people are still recovering from the holidays and admissions committees may not be meeting for a few weeks, even.

I feel bad for you, esp. since one of the profs I asked for a letter sent it like, two weeks after the deadline (but the school was cool with it).

But I have to admit, I laughed at the "nyuk nyuk" part because I could totally picture the professor being like that!
