Stanford School of Education

Hey all, new to this community, but nerves and stress have compelled me to post.

I'd like to know if anyone has any experience applying to Stanford's School of Education, particularly their International Educational Administration and Policy Analysis M.A. program. (website: http://suse-ice.stanford.edu/)

I graduated from UCLA in 2006 (3.9 GPA, summa cum laude), and in the time between then and now, I have interned at a small media company, volunteered for the Asian Pacific American Legal Center (helping people apply for citizenship), tutored privately, done a short (2 months) research internship in Taiwan, and am currently tutoring and subbing for a private international high school. It looks pretty decent on paper, but I think if anyone pays closer attention to my resume they would realize that I didn't really have a lot going (and still kind of don't...)

I also spent a year abroad (in Taiwan) while at UCLA, and that's really the great motivation behind my applying for IEAPA. I plan on administering/implementing international exchange programs, most likely in a university setting. I talked to a friend who got into a related program(ICE), and she said not a lot of people apply for IEAPA so I should be able to get in, but I just wanted to get the opinion of the experts out there! ;)

Oh btw, my GRE scores are: Verbal - 760 (99%), Quant - 680 (66%), Analytical Wri. - 6 (96%).

Hope that's enough info! Thanks!
