GRE Subject scores

The GRE Subject Test scores for the November 3rd test date are now available by phone. :)

I'm... hmm. I'm not happy with my score, but I'm not terribly disappointed either. How'd ya'll do?

Related to all this, what do you for schools that "highly recommend" you send your Subject scores but don't require it? I took the Psychology test, and my scores aren't laughable but they're not really fantastic either. My scores are only mildly competitive and I don't want to give them something to hold against me, but I'm worried that "highly recommended" is grad school -speak for "send it or major fail." Only a few of my schools require the subject scores and those have already been sent out.

Any thoughts?

(For the record, I scored a 690, which puts me in the 79th percentile. Not great, but not horrible. But for some of my programs the average will be in the upper 700s and... argh!)
