Good news!
Telephone conversation between relatives in Virginia and relatives in Burma confirm that the family in Rangoon are fine, though the roof was blown off the homestead. We'll be making arrangements to see its repair. This is a great relief. Of course, wider help to the local community to restore services are needed, and I know my grand-aunt and grand-uncle there will be busy organizing assistance through their church.
