I need a roommate, but i'm really picky.
I'm looking for a roommate for July 1st or later. Someone between the ages of 25-33. Male or female, gay or straight.
The place is in South Austin on Sheraton Ave. in a new development. It is off of S. Congress heading south, right past Ben White.
It's in a big brand new house, just finished on 3/31. It's a two floor, 3 bedroom, game room, 2.5 bath, garage, patio w/ fenced in big yard w/ a patio set, kiddy pool, and room to garden. The rent is 550.00 a month with gas, water, trash, local phone and alarm system included. You'd split electricty and road runner internet with me. No cable TV, but a big TV and DVD player in the living room that you can watch.
You would have your own bedroom with walk in closet, 11 x 9. You would have your own private bath, but it's not connected to the bedroom. There is a spare bedroom that you can use if you have guests stay over and a game room/computer room area to use as well. Storage in the garage. There is a washer/dryer.
I'm 27, professional. I work from 3-11 PM and am usually up really late M-Thursday. I have some pets, a 7 year old maltese dog and two cats. You should like animals, be okay with letting my dog out for me, and if you want you can even take him for a walk... it would also be nice if you'd like to snuggle w/ the kitties. Because I have a few animals, I can't accept anymore. I'm laid back, libral, like indie rock and going to shows sometimes or drinking beer on a patio. I go through moods when I like to go out 1-2 times a week, or I just stay in and watch movies all weekend. My family is from NH, so i'm usually here, I don't leave for weekends to visit people. As far as cleaning habits go, I keep the common areas tidy and expect help cleaning the common areas like dusting, vacuuming, and washing the floors.
You should like pets, be a professional or grad student. If you have a boyfriend/ girlfriend go to their house most of the time to sleep over... I don't want someone else living here with me. I don't want parties at the house often, or at all. BBQ's are fine, or joint parties. You should expect and want to help out around the house and not eat my food in the fridge.
