(no subject)
i got my first paycheck today. it was almost $600. whoo!! the envelope was blue & pink. how cool is that? i half-expected the check to be made out of candy
on wednesday i got to see how my senior pictures came out. (do they have senior pictures in other countries, i wonder? if not, they're just professional pictures taken when you're a senior, or about to be a senior in high school). i think i'll scan a few when i get a chance, because the photographer used his genius to make me look pretty.
holy crap, i need to sleep. i think that in the past week, i've gotten as many hours of sleep as i usually do on a single saturday. or at least that's what it feels like. i slept for most of the day at work today. and yesterday. and the day before that. tom made a bed for me out of three chairs, some towels and a big coat for a blanket. i was out like a light. i'm so happy that he cares about me enough to let me take naps on the job. he's just like "well, we won't let you get caught". i mean, i feel a little bad about getting paid for sleeping, but i mean...i *was* a little sick this week (food poisoning from a bad taco, i think) & being sick made me tired...
