Thorny problems

Hirakoba-kun, try and make sure the others let you come back. If you do not, I fear our camp will be overrun bya one-man dictatorship that started when your cabin became ruled by one master.

Somebody bring me back a new cactus.

and goodluck

I'll try and look after myself and ensure my safe return if you keep an eye on Mary-kun for me in my absence.

It's the very least I can do.

If I fail, I will at least make you a rabbit pie on your return.

I feel like Tezuka-kun may make some half-hearted attempt at trying to stop me from coming back from camp. But for the good of the camp, I'll defy his wishes.

A rabbit pie sounds lovely. Make sure to add some pepper.

Tezuka has not thought this through. Although I am curious how you have vexed him so much.

I make the best pies.

I'm not sure. Perhaps he took offense that time I said he was cute.

Mm, I know. I enjoyed them immensely during the play.

The sons of Zeus are sensitive indeed. Perhaps we should refer to them all as -chan until they learn to accept a compliment.

The rabbit would be even more succulent as the other meat used there.

I'll try it out on the quest. Tezuka-chan and I will come back closer than ever.

Unfortunately the one rabbit I'd want to eat isn't quite big enough to make a satisfactory pie.

They say you never really know a man until you see him angry.

Is that so? Could he be fed up to make a dumpling?

Making Tezuka-chan angry is a challenge in itself. I'm looking forward to the trip.

Maybe a small party pie. I enjoy puff pastry on the top.

It is always good to have multiple objectives.

I will practice my trimmings. I suppose the preference is still to have Zaizen-kun suitably calm?

It will keep me occupied while we travel. There might be some slow days.

Yes, the preference is to have Mary-kun happy and healthy when I return. I'm very fond of him.

And two prizes are better than one.

Should I also call him 'Mary-kun'? It might ease the loss of your departure.

Definitely.

Ah... perhaps not. Mary-kun has been known to get a bit territorial over the name. Maybe it's best to keep calling him Zaizen.

I would hate to fall victim to a territorial rabbit lover. I shall stay on the safe side and simply measure his rabbits for size incase all goes wrong.
