& we say goodbye and go underground.
or up towards the sky, up in smoke, burnt down to size.
at least we're still friends.
at least we're still alive.
Jon Ender
I am so glad that I ever met you. We share so many similarities, you can say that you're just like me... but a guy. I wish you the best of luck for your senior year, do all the things I told you to do. & go to college or I'll kick your ass. If you ever need any advice, you know where to find me. <3
Carrie
There have been so many great times. Although we have all grown apart, I look back and realize how much you impacted my life. My freshman and sophomore years were unforgettable because of you. Never forget our Saves the Day/Coronado Circle excursions. haha.
Melissa/ Co-workers
I honestly didnt think that I'd make friends with any of my co-workers. But working at Anthony's for the past 6 months has been such a blast. I am so fortunate to have met you all and have learned something from each and every one of you. & Thank you Melissa for getting me a job there and for always making me laugh. "Compliments of Tai Bo 2 hours a day, 5 days a week!"
Marilynn
When it comes to you, you were a huge part of my high school life. Freshman, Sophomore/and semi-Junior year, there were so many memories made. But the things that really stand out are: Good Charlotte, Warped Tour 2001, & Russell. Thank you for being apart of my life. I miss you and I hope you continue success in the future. <3
Jenners
Man, we haven't hung out since hot hot heat. & It's my fault because I've been a stranger to everyone because I keep getting scared about leaving. But girl, when I come back to so cal, I want to see you. & If you're ever in the nor cal area, visit me... there's an 80's dance club up there called PopScene. All the people I know up there go and say its so much fun. =0) <3 you Jenners.
Sarah
Sarah Sarah Sarah... what is there to say about you? So much, that's it. haha. Junior year was perhaps my favorite year in high school. & the majority of it was because of you. From middle school - present, believe me when I say, I'll never forget your crazy antics. & Most importantly, you.
Samantha
Oh man. You are the og most friend of mine. All the way back to middle school, with all our middle school drama in band and all that hoopla. I love you to pieces. I look at you and no matter how much you think you aren't, you are perhaps the strongest person I know. You've overcome so many obsticles and further seems forever can top off how I feel about you: "and I admire you strength, you keep [me] going on." ♥ p.s. do you remember "radio"?
Jeremiah
If you could be renamed, you should be called amazing. I've never once heard any one have anything bad to say about you and it's true. you're such a good hearted individual and your talents and kindness will take you to higher places. I truly know it and I truly believe in you.
Megan
The first time we met, it was in the rain during middle school. You claimed that if you did an un-rain dance and sang a rain dance backwards, it'd go away. Strangely, it did but for a short while. =0) You're seriously one of the most brightest people I know. You've got common sense and book smarts. Those two things don't come hand and hand, I am clearly an example of that. haha. Sweet Marie, you have finally found love and let it continue to grow stronger. I love you, Meg. I'll be on aim more in college.
John
Oh boy. Dork-O. You are truly the king of Dorks. I'm really glad I had a chance to get to know you and for you to share all your college and life stories. I'm grateful for Sarah to know you and introduce you to Megan and I. And no matter how hard you try to convince people, anal sex will always be gross to me.
Shauna
It's funny how things came full circle for us. From middle school to the beginning of high school and then our senior year, we were closer than ever. I'm going to miss our Starbucks sessions.. heck I miss them now. It's pretty shitty how we didnt spend any time together this summer but we only have ourselves to blame. Don't slack off in college, let my constant mothering lectures from senior year carry on to your college work.
Justin
You are my savior. You are my real life Holden Caulfield. That what makes you so different from the rest.. it's your character and personality. It's something that a lot of people wish they could be... just blunt and humorously cynical. Thank you for making this summer worthwhile with our little pokez and movie excursions. You're going to do great, just always keep your goals in mind and I you better come visit me in nor cal. You'll always have a place to stay if you do. Love you bunches.
Kelly
My "sister"! If anyone asked me who has made the biggest influence in your schooling, it'd be you. You are the epitome of a hard working, goal-oriented college student and independence. You've done it all on your own and I can only hope that I can be half of who you are someday. Thank you for listening when no one else was there. Thank you for everything. I sure won't lose touch with you. ♥
Sarah
It took me this summer to realize that things won't ever be the same between us. I can't change that and you can't change that. I just have to accept it and move on. But you are the memory maker. Everything I can try remembering about middle school and high school, you were there. & no one can beat it when it comes to our memories together. You get a big award for putting up with all the shit I've put you through. I don't understand how we're still friends after a lot of it. Please realize that I never meant to hurt you. & I know you have felt hurt and I'd do anything to take it back. As for our future, I hope we continue our friendship. Try not to forget me. p.s. turdblade & did you go to keven's latest "shindig"?
Kayleigh
You will be the one individual who I will miss the most. In a way, it was a good thing that we never hung out 24/7. We never really built up a co-dependence so when we go away, it won't be unbarable. I give you the credibility of getting myself more active in the world. Especially, Politics. But most importantly, for getting me into bands whom now, I cannot live without. You are my twin. Our similarities are so striking and the more we find out about each other, the more we swear we were seperated at birth. I love you so much and I know I'll be seeing your editorials somewhere, causing controversy. =0) Expect calls after OC night and I shall be seeing you up at Cal whenever you come up.
Bottom line, I just want to thank everyone and tell them how much I love them. Berkeley isn't that far away. To all those that don't have their pictures up: navarre, kim, sandi, katy, karla, john, bob, & jenny. I didn't forget about you. Most of you I dont have pictures of and such. But I love you all.
San Diego, thanks for sheltering me the past 18 years and for all the unforgettable the memories.
As for Andrea, Evo, Yuliya, David, Gerald, Tricia, Kevin, and all the other nor cal kids, here I come!
♥ Dani
