stealing handcuff earrings from suspicious storeclerks is deliciously ironic; irony is the new black
after a day of petty theft, exccellent pizza, scamming walmart, ambitious plans, and late-night diner, liz and i were giddy enough to laugh at the accidental phrase "dick dizzle diggles" until she had hiccups and i cried.
also, in a fit of - something, i took down my fort earlier this evening. upon returning to my room tonight, it seemed big and strange and a little sad.
also also, that bug that's been buzzing around bumping against my walls at night that i was sure was a moth just landed on the wall to my left and i realized it was a ladybug. how lucky. i trapped it with a cup and a piece of paper and set it free on the back porch, where it flew back to land on my thigh before i brushed it away.
i feel like the rest of this summer will be most of the best of it.
