An update about nothing!
I replaced the broken video card with a new part and the computer works fine now. After testing out the new graphics card on a variety of games - super meat boy, borderlands, amnesia: the dark descent, metro2033, minecraft - I spent last night playing left4dead2. I object to any accusation that i was suffering from zombie apocalypse withdrawal.
My prac block for teaching begins again in a month. I have started taking a multi vitamin and changing my sleeping regime. I will not be falling sick this time around. I spent last week carrying around a cold. Maybe I've had my flu for the year?
