Old people and stuff.
Today my class toured a nursing home in Ypsi and it was SO AWESOME. I met so many nice people. They were so adorable, I wanted to put them in my pocket and bring them home. I met an old man whose wife also lived in the same nursing home but she had severe dementia. He was glowing as he spoke about how he spent time with her every single day. Someone in my class asked him what the secret was to staying married for sixty two years and he said "love!" and got so excited that he waved his arms around and almost jumped out of his chair! Another man told us "I hope you all have lives as happy as mine as been". AWWWW. I hope so too.
I have four papers due next week. My goal was to finish one of them tonight but instead I'm looking up ideas for my Halloween costume. I think I'm going to be a flapper but I'm not sure if I'm going to make a costume or buy one.
Oh yeah, computer update:
Apparently it's Totally Fucked. The motherboard is destroyed and according to the Computer Repairman it would cost 600+ to fix. Fuck that, I say!
I'm using my old Dell that I got when I was 17. There are butterfly stickers on the monitor. Whatever, it works.
Does anyone want to carve pumpkins?
