*wipes sweat from face* I thought something was going to go really wrong for Tezuka before .... >_< But still, he can't play tennis anymore~! Waaah, the PAIN!!!!! *imitates chibi-Tezuka and clutches shoulder/elbow*

Loved your portrayal of Ayana and how she took care of Tezuka - really touching ^_^ Happy (belated) birthday to your own mother too!

*loves you* Thank you for commenting. <3 Yeah, I know I really had people on a cliffhanger before ... gomen ne. ^_^ But aren't you relieved, now? ^_^

I'm sure my mother will appreciate the sentiment. ^_^ We don't deserve our mothers.

Who knows. The doctor was hopeful, and this is Tezuka. ^_^ Thank you for reading, and I hope you like the next chapter when it's posted!

That conversation between Tezuka and his mother tugged at the heart strings. That last line just cut the strings and broke my heart. T__T

Okay, so maybe that was a wee bit too graphic. But the point is that it's poignant, this story, and what really stood out to me was the relationship between Tezuka and Ayana, both their current rather frail but persistent strengths and that point of not letting her know what really hurt is his inability to play tennis anymore (or will he?) is touching.

All in all, gorgeous, gorgeous writing. Looking forward to more. :)

*hugs you* Part of it, I will admit, stems from my current relationship with my mother. If there's one thing I miss about Malaysia, it was having my mother around. I love Tokyo, but I know my mother misses me and worries, because my brother and sister pass the message on.

Too graphic? *puzzled* The fic? I didn't mean for it to be. But yes, Tezuka doesn't want his mother to worry about him. You're only partly right about the tennis. Something else bothers him, but I'm getting to that in chapter 3, currently being beta-ed. ^_^

Thank you very much for reading and I hope you read the next one, too. <3 And MANY MANY thanks for the comment.

Ahh, I see. I haven't been away from home for an extended period of time like for studies and such. But I can imagine I'd miss my parents terribly if I did. *hugs* I'm sure your mom knows she misses you too. :)

Oh no, by graphic, I meant my remark about "heartstrings being cut" and all. ^^;;;; The fic was juuuuust nice. ^___^

*hugs again and skips off to read chapter 3 :D*

<3 *snuggles you* Aye, I appreciate my parents a lot more now that I've got a taste of living independently.

*blushes and loves* ^_^

Well, most of what I might have said has been said already, so I won't repeat it.

I do enjoy this fic, though... and thought it interesting that the room was full of "red, white, and blue" jackets, and Ryuzaki was there, too.

Hm.... I don't speculate on stories, it only makes me feel dumb. I'm having fun, though!

*chuckles* I like hearing it again, if only in point form. I find it absolutely fascinating what people think of fics I write, and I always want to know what hits home.

^_^ Seigaku spirit lives on. If Tezuka had been in a longer coma, he might have woken to pennants and banners and stuff. XD

I'm very glad you're having fun. ^_^ My beta Chi is already guessing so many things that are going to happen, I feel as if the story is an open book. XD I'm glad you're reading--the next one is going to be posted VERY soon (in beta NOW).

Lonely boy :/ and are you making the theme 'selfish' after all~? And I bet he'll want to play again :P that stubborn idiot.

I don't have anything to write about style, etc, as you know already what I think :)

Oh, not sure whether it will be "selfish" now. That may be yet another fic. They're spawning like crazy now that I'm actually writing again.
