Summary/Author's notes: Tezuka's leaving for Germany, and Fuji gives him a present.
“A plushie.” Tezuka looked at Fuji’s gift, and then back at Fuji.
Fuji smiled. “A cute one,” he said, waving the little doll at Tezuka, before taking Tezuka’s hand and putting it inside.
Tezuka looked at the little doll’s closed eyes, felt haircut, and familiar smile. “It looks like you.”
Fuji beamed. “Now you won’t be lonely in bed anymore.”
The plushie continued to smile beatifically at him. Tezuka eyed it suspiciously. He surreptitiously squeezed it, checking for microphones or transmitters. He hadn’t forgiven the cactus that broadcast Mexican music at six a.m.
“They’re in the eyes,” Fuji said helpfully.
