new twists
Lately, I have been talking to a lot of people that I used to know. I have really enjoyed it. My life has been taking a number of new twists lately, all of which I find intriguing.
I am helping plan some ten year high school reunion stuff, so obviously I have been talking to a lot of AP people. However, some of these people I literally haven't seen or spoken to in a decade, and now I am IMing them for hours at a time. It's weird.
I also recently found out that one of my good friends from high school (and a former boyfriend) is getting married. I am so happy for him. The odd thing though is that his fiance used to date someone I worked with in Houston. Imagine the odds.
So, in general the school year, and this week specifically have really been very different animals from the past. This weekend I was out with Milby people every night. I haven't been this social in years. I even spent some time with people that I never really hung out with out of school before. All I can say is that overall this was an AMAZING weekend. I hope that the rest of the year will be as awesome.
So, here's to new chances, and shedding previous assumptions about life and people. Cheers.
