Dover, Delaware Welcomes the Return of the 2005 Miss Delaware USA and Miss Delaware Teen USA Pageants
Seventy-five diverse, beautiful and charming young women to vie for state titles, scholarships, and opportunities.
New Castle, DE (PRWEB) October 21, 2004 -- On November 26-28, 2004, approximately seventy-five of Delaware’s most beautiful and charming young women will travel to Dover, Delaware to vie for the titles of Miss Delaware USA and Miss Delaware Teen USA 2005. Crown Productions, Inc. is pleased to announce their return to the Sheraton Dover Hotel, marking the event’s second year in the state capitol. Spotlighting diverse contestants from every corner of the state, and a production showcasing the top movie songs and performers of all time, the pageants are expected to be one of Dover’s most glamorous and exciting events of the season.
Miss Delaware USA and Miss Delaware Teen USA are the official state preliminaries to the Miss USA USA and Miss Teen USA Pageants. Contestants will vie for scholarships and prizes worth over $100,000, and the chance to represent the first state at the 2004 Miss USA and Miss Teen USA Pageants, nationally televised on NBC. Miss USA and Miss Teen USA are both produced by the Miss Universe Organization, a National Broadcasting Company Inc. and Donald J. Trump Partnership. Winners will be selected on the basis of three areas of competition; personal interview, swimsuit, and evening gown.
The reigning Miss Delaware USA, Courtney Purdy, of Newark, and Miss Delaware Teen USA, Brittany Cichocki, of Wilmington, will be present to crown their successors. The Presentation Show, to include the swimsuit and evening gown competitions for all contestants, will be held on Friday, Nov. 26 at 7:30 p.m. The Final Show will take place on Sunday, Nov. 28 from 1-3 p.m., when the semi-finalists will be featured in swimsuit, evening gown, and an on-stage interview, ultimately leading to the crowning of the new Miss Delaware USA and Miss Delaware Teen USA . Both shows will be held at the Sheraton Dover Hotel, located on Route 13, and are open to the public.
