i love your words, im glad to read all this
we are turning to gold or to air or to trees or to flowers,
whatever it is,
we should be ok,
there's no doubt universe is showing itself to our eyes.
keep taking pictures, making free your personal truth..

I like Jung, but Freud changed my life more than he did.

one thing i really like about jung is that he believed in many things out of this world, things that freud denied.

I've been reading Jung as well. His essay on the relation of analytical psychology to poetry is so wonderful. I ate up every word.

that's nice to hear. i noticed a book the other day called Jung and Shamanism in Dialogue : Retrieving the Soul / Retrieving the Sacred, which seemed quite exciting, and i definitely hope i get to read it some day, and i hope it's good. i also heard that there's a book on the i ching with an introduction by Jung. that would be wonderful to get my hands on as well.

The first book you mentioned sounds really interesting, I'm going to have to search for a copy.

I love all of this.
Staircases are amongst my favourite things.
Along with optimism and blind faith. I think we need them both to survive, sometimes.

Hope all's well.

thank you, hannah.

optimism and blind faith are at times hard to manage, but they're definitely worth striving for.

things are getting better, lately, i think...in a way.

well-wishes to you too.

p.s. i really enjoy your photographs.

Good to hear. Peaks and troughs, eh?
Or 'pigs and troughs', and that's what Toby says to describe the moodswings I get when I'm hungry.

I saw you added me on Flickr! I added you back. I need to put lots more photos up but I can't til I get home.
Am thinking of getting a medium format camera and taking enormous pictures of epic landscapes.
Your photos are gorgeous, and there's so many of them! You should post more on here.

h,

about the flick photos, thanks...it's nice to know people enjoy what i've got to share with them. i may just take your advice and post more here. &,

epic landscapes sounds like a grand idea. i hope you do it, and i hope i get to viddy 'em. what kind of medium format would you want to get? i love to limit myself with the constraints of the plastic piece-o'junk known as the holga.

take cares
