Tarong

(Pirate's warning: yarr there be spoilers here)

I just watched the play Tarong a few hours ago, and it was amazing. It is divided into three mini plays, each with its own unique story and style.
This first one involves construction workers and security guards. The construction workers talk about life (and maybe love) and how they never receive their rightful wages, after months of waiting. It turns out that they're ghosts and that the security guards are being haunted by them.
The second one is about butterflies and dragonflies. It starts with a couple of dragonflies inside a cocoon wanting to morph into beautiful butterflies, since they think that butterflies have the good life. A butterfly then comes along and explains to them how butterflies don't always have all the best luck. It ends with the butterfly dying, and one of the dragonflies going back to the cocoon, just to see how it feels like to be beautiful.
The last one is an emotional story of homosexuals trying to make a good living. We start with a couple playing cards and drinking beer, with a young boy acting as their servant. A few plot twists here and there, and we find out that one of the 'guys' and the servant are actually together, and, in the end, the servant stabs the guy. Tragic.
Watch Tarong. :D
