Clickityclick.
Personality: Every story needs their hero, their knight in shining armor, and Sora’s sole purpose in life seems to be to strive towards filling that role wherever it may be needed. Her entire outlook has been inspired heavily by a very simple story, one that everyone has heard in one form or another. A princess, a demon king, and the noble knight who always shows up, against all odds, to save the day. From the day she saved her best friend, her first princess, as a child, she was resolute to become a knight just like that. The unstoppable force of goodness. The knight who protects all the princesses. The knight of justice.
Aside from wanting to be a knight and to rescue pretty much everyone ever, her other interests include being infectiously happy, eating food, and, of course, moving her body. There’s no denying that Sora is a total jock and a... bit dumb. Schoolwork is a nightmare for her, she has little to no direction sense to speak of, and it isn’t any great feat to confuse her. Her obliviousness to things like romance and, unfortunately, enemies is in a legendary category all of it’s own. Even so, it may be that not being the brightest bulb in the box is what enables the rest of her personality.
Sora discards notions like personal space and social norms because she just doesn’t get them. As far as she’s concerned, everyone could use a hug, and what do you mean a knight can’t have four or five princesses at a time, of course they can. She is loud and confident, extremely emotive, speaks exactly what is on her mind (including every single confused ‘uuuh’ and dumb question that happens to tumble across it), and has a knack for cutting right through the facades people have to find the best in them. That last bit there has had some interesting reactions thus far, since she goes right on to tell those people all about what she sees without considering they may not want to hear it first.
But when it comes down to protecting someone, Sora can muster the seriousness to actually act like a storybook knight she aspires to be, even in the cases where she’s just being asked to think about what she would do in certain dangerous situations. She will throw herself into harm’s way without a thought for herself and continue to fight until she goes down, regardless of what the odds are. She can’t take the thought of failing to save anyone. In particular, her princesses. What knight cannot protect those they’re sworn to protect? Letting them down like that is perhaps the only way to bring the perpetually cheerful hero down into despair.
Abilities: Sora has no special abilities without the aid of the Exaclan system back at academy. With it, she can draw tactile holographic weapons out of whoever is listed as a weapon in the system, which is primarily the female student population.
Without, she is left with her natural athletic skill, which she has in spades. Sora is a jock, through and through. She is stronger than average, can take one hell of a beating before going down, has quick reflexes, and can run very fast. She has experience with handling a wide range of weapons such as swords, rifles, spears, flails, and axes. She is also no stranger to hand-to-hand combat and can hold her own in a fistfight.
Then there is the case of Sora’s hearing. It is bizarrely exact at pinpointing the location of a cry for help.
