Tonight Amelia's dad took us to Vidalia and last night he took us out to Pssgettis(sp?),but gawddamn -deliciousness. I really enjoy when her dad comes to visit; he's absolutely hilarious and ridiculous and fun. He came up to celebrate her birthday early and got her lots of strange presents and he gave me this really neat clock because he said he didn't want to give her a bunch of stuff and me nothing, I thought that was really really sweet. This clock is so fukin kewl. It's little and you can fold it up and take it anywhere with you, it's even got a travel case, and it glows red and blue and green. I'm very very very fond of this new clock.
This weekend was a ridiculous amount of fun. Friday night Kristen, Jason, Adam, Steve, Amelia and I ate shitty pizza and wine for dinner. Then Kristen, JJP, and I went to the Dance Ensemble, which was really really cool. Kristen and I were a little crunked up and that made it even funnier because she said really loudly how the people in front of us reminded her of golden retrievers and I laughed my ass off. Then we returned to my apartment to hang out. Adam and Steve rejoined us and then Rio and Mark came too. That was quite a bit of fun.
Saturday Amelia and I were beyond productive around the apartment. We did lots of important things and everything got super clean, only to get unclean a few hours later, but hey it was good while it lasted. I went with Kristen, Adam and Jason and watched Peter and Ari cut hair and whatnot, that was kewl. THEN Kristen and I got ready for Watauga Prom. I enjoyed that so much. I love getting dressed up and I haven't done it in so long, so I took advantage of it and took way longer than I needed to to get ready, but it was worth it. Then we went and met Rio and took some pictures of all of us and went to the dance. I had so much fun. JoDa and I got ridiculous and he looked spiffy. Jason, Rio and Adam all looked oh so fine. It was so fun seeing everybody all dressed up, it doesn't happen often and it was a nice change of pace. DB was ridiculous and wrist danced a lot and flickered scarves in peoples faces. I loled at that a lot. Overall it was really fun and I hope I get to dress up again sometime in the near future. Afterward people came here and we hung out and had lots and lots of fun taking pictures and being ridiculous and playing family bed.
SB07BOOZECRUIZECANOEZ is beginning Saturday and I'm really excited. I think this will be a really good, relaxing, ridiculous, fun trip with good people, sun and water. I can't wait. It will be a good break after the past few weeks and the week that is taking place now. Lots of exams and things, so I'm really looking forward to getting away. Hopefully I'll get a day or so in Charlotte too and see my family and Kathryn.
