(no subject)
well after reading all these ppl write about 2006, i think i will do the same.. seeing as i like reflecting and what not. lol
SO... the year 2006, it came just as fast as it ended! and yet soooooo much happened in just those 12 months!
lets see..where to begin (i think i'll just go about this randomly..not too good orginaization right now anyways):
i got accepted and go to my first choice college, which feels amazing to be able to say that. i ended my 7 years at MSL with some bad but SOOO many good memories. stayed friends with people i've known since elementry and can still say i'm still really close to them. got closer to a few friends, which is awesome! i met new friends that i became really close too. i don't think i really lost any friends, just hard to keep in touch with after leaving for college, sorry! met a ton of new friends at college right off the bat and i'm still meeting new people everyday i swear! adjusted to a new lifestyle away from home and the people i'm really close with. was lonely at first but now i wouldn't change it for anything. found out how strong i truly am inside and i can actually say i found the TRUE me and am glad, because i've been searching for quite some time now. i'm happy with the person that i am today. i went to germany with five really good friend, had the time of my life. met new people there and friends with them to this day. i cried a lot of tears in 2006, the most i think i've ever cried in one year. had to say goodbye to two really close friends, still feels weird without them here and seeing them everyday. got my frist job and loved it! not many people can say that one. i did lots of things with people over the summer which those memories will always be with me. of course, i ran into some rough patches but hopefully those stay in the past... ended my first semester of college on a good note but hopefully make a even better one second semester! i became really close to my brother but we still have our bad days, that's for sure! haha but all in all it was a amazing year, which ended great, with being able to have my cousin from germany here... especially because i haven't seen her in 3 loooong years! and like i said before.. i wouldn't change anything that happened in 2006 because without that year.. i probably wouldn't be here typing this on LJ. haha.
well i hope everyone had a good 2006 and an even better 2007! oh the possiblities of a new year! i can't wait!
