So we got back from Morgantown today. The trip was a pain in the rear. I totally forgot that it snows west of here starting in October. It was a cold icy mess. Accidents every where.

The doctor described it as a fluid build up, caused by the tube not closing. The only thing I could find online was a Hydrocele

During development, the testicles descend down a tract tube from the abdomen into the scrotum. Hydroceles result when this tube fails to close. But this usually only happens to newborns. My boy is a little too old for us to have missed this for 7 months.

He kept saying "fluid build up around the testicle" the sonogram report clearly states "cystic area INSIDE the testicle".

He told us if it gets bigger they will remove it, or if it isn't gone by the time he is a year old. His intern was going to do the light test (lighting up the testicle with a flashlight and if you can see threw it its probably a hydrocele) But her light was dead, and he never bothered he just felt it for a few seconds and mumbled his explanation.

So we have a follow up appointment in April, to have it removed if it doesn't get bigger between now and then. I might get a 2nd opinion though I just trust this explanation. I forgot my insurance card so on the baby's report for the doctor it states in huge black letters UNINSURED, because they wouldn't put humana on there with out the card. I think that played a role in the doctors attitude really.

So to sum this up, the doctor seems to think its harmless fluid build up, and should go away on its own. The soreness the baby has shown towards it... is no big deal, and they will remove it only if it stays for another 5 months or gets bigger.

Thank you everyone for the prayers and well wishes. It means a lot to us. I know my little guy is strong, and he will get through this. Hes a tough guy. Even though his little pee gub is sore and we had rough day he is sitting there with his daddy smiling sweetly as he drools all over my cat. I really have faith everything will be fine.
