I'm getting all drugged up. After about a month of being sick and a bottle of liquid Tyenol later, I decided that it was definitely time to go see the doctor. My birthday's rapidly approaching and the last thing I would want to feel is sick.
After about a 1.5 hour wait at the doctors (my dad was complaining), I finally got to see Dr. Lee--usually I would see Dr. Yu, who I really do not like, but he was thankfully out today. I've never been seen by Dr. Lee before but it was pretty interesting. Everything I complained about, from my sore throat to my plugged ears, he had a medicine for. So in the end I come home with 6 different medications.
I complained about sore throat, he gave me cough syrup. I complained about my runny nose, he gave me Flonase. I complained about allergies, he gave me allergy medicine. I complained about my plugged ears, he gave me penicillin. I complained about headaches, he gave me Tyenol. Even after all these prescriptions, he gave me one more. He asked, "now while we're at it, would you like something for your acne." Sure. Why not.
I almost came home with 7 cause I complained about my eye being red but when he asked, I said no more. Coming home with all these medications make me feel like there's actually something wrong severely wrong with me. Old people take 6 different medications. But that's besides the point.
I feel pretty screwed about my article for this issue. I don't even have anything down on paper and deadline's Wednesday. Usually I would be able to pull off a one-dayer, but this is a Features spread. It's sort of funny though because J.Lin and I don't even nudge each other to start working. I don't think we realize how much time we don't have.
Almost 18! I'm a bit anxious about being legal, but part of me dies to be 16 again. Ah.
