recipe app rant
I've been looking around for some good recipe apps for Mac OS X. They all suck. Great.
MacGourmet - way too much time to create a new recipe. Too many tabs to go through and fill out info. No way to customize all those either. Not very intuitive.
YummySoup! - Adding ingredients to a new recipe is pure hell. So is editing old recipes.
Connoisseur - Great, except the layout is not the same as MacGourmet or YummySoup!...they all have sidebars and all, but Connoisseur has the awesome iTunes browse-like feature by cuisine/ingredient. Meanwhile the other two list all the recipes, and then show the recipe underneath the list if you click on one.
I'm sticking with YummySoup...adding recipes from websites is ridiculously simple, I'm in love maybe :)
